Comments
Per Jewishgen: Beth Israel (1840) and Rodeph Shalom (1802) of Phila. were incorporated into Roosevelt. Per Bensalem Historical Society: This is the first Jewish cemetery on the East Coast to have bronze gardens. Statues by Boris Blai, noted sculptor and founder of the Tyler School of Art, include "Yiskor" and "Chuppah". The mausoleum was built in 1960 and has a stained glass window named "Celebration of Life" by Phila. artist, Sam Maitin.
