Comments
St. Francis de Sales was the patron saint of Francis Drexel, father of Elizabeth, St. Katharine Drexel and Louise, the co-foundresses of the original St. Francis Industrial School founded in 1888. This cemetery is for the boys who died while staying at St. Francis deSales. St. Francis was merged with St. Joseph in 2002. On the same property is the Gibbs/Rodman Burying Ground. This property was originally the Gibbs farm.
