Title:

Cool Your Jets Just Long Enough to Plan the Perfect Genealogical Trip

Subject:

For this lecturer, a 1970s trip to Ireland sparked a lifelong passion for genealogical travel. Every trip held new questions to solve, new lands to wander, and potential cousins to meet. In 2025, genealogical travel is becoming one of the most popular reasons to travel. It offers you, the traveler, the ability to walk the lands your ancestors came from. It places you, the family researcher, onsite, where local repositories are waiting for you to ask for assistance. It opens the door to meeting a variety of cousins you never knew existed. All that you need to do is plan. This lecture will not only inspire you to take that first genealogical trip, but it will also prepare you before you go! Being prepared will ensure that you get the most you can from each genealogical trip that you take, making it the trip of a lifetime every single time. Every attendee will receive free access through the lecturer’s website to a downloadable and editable 22-page planner (no email address required).
