| Description | This group of records consists of abstracts of death notices appearing in the Quakertown Free Press between 1881 and 1902. Information included in each record includes the date of publication, name of the person who died, and date of death as reported in the newspaper. Many records also include the names of parents, spouse, or other relatives as well as the place of residence. The abstracts were compiled by Terry L. Musselman and typed and indexed by Thomas G. Myers as volunteers for the Bucks County Historical Society. The transcribed abstracts were donated by Mr. Myers to the Bucks County Genealogical Society with the kind permission of the Bucks County Historical Society. The original printed transcriptions are available at the Spruance Library of the Bucks County Historical Society. They can be searched by the name of the decedent, as well as the parent name(s) in the case of a child. |
