DescriptionThese names were extracted from a transcription of the Church Records of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Durham, PA, 1813-1939. The various types of entries include confirmations, communicants (individuals participating in Communion on a specific date), catechumens (individuals preparing for confirmation), church membership on a date or over a period of time, admission to the church and removal from the church rolls. The records often did not include a specific date; in that case the dates shown may be an estimate based on other entries on the same page of the church book. Note that the same person may be listed multiple times in this source, and that there may be many different spellings of the same name. The names are indexed exactly as they appeared in the transcription, except that abbreviations of first names have been expanded to the full name where that could be determined.

These Church Records were transcribed by Thomas G. Myers as a volunteer for the Bucks County Historical Society. The transcription was donated to the Bucks County Genealogical Society by Mr. Myers with the kind permission of the Bucks County Historical Society. The original printed transcriptions are available at the Mercer Museum Library of the Bucks County Historical Society.
