Hi Toni! Info about fees for joining the BCGS are available on our website. We do not have a search service, although I'm willing to do searches for free on a limited basis. You can also place a free query in our newsletter if you'd like.

There is no Andrew/Andries/Andrus (Van) Buskirk listed in the index to Bucks County estates so it's probable that Moses' father did not die in Bucks County. Bucks County tax records show both Andrus and George

Van Buskirk taxed in Upper Makefield Twp in 1733 and in 1742.

However, they are no longer on the tax roll in 1753. This would suggest that both Andrew and George left Bucks County between 1742 and 1753. Unfortunately, tax records for the intervening years have been lost so I can't pinpoint further when they left and whether your Moses was born before or after Andries left Bucks County.

Based on what I see on the internet about this family, I find the Bucks County tax record evidence extremely confusing. Moses' father Andries is claimed to have been born in 1719 and his brother George in 1721. If that is true, they wouldn't have been old enough to be listed in the 1733 tax roll. It's possible that this Andries is Moses great-uncle rather than his father but I see no George in the Van Buskirk family older than Moses' uncle. So I'm not sure what to make of this. If the Andries living Upper Makefield Twp. in 1733 & 1742 is not Moses father, then I don't have any evidence that Moses' father was living in Bucks County at the time of Moses' birth.

Based on a limited search of my extensive collection of Bucks County source material, I can't find any other useful information to prove where Moses was born.
