Title:

Source Citations -- Why Bother?

Most of us know that we should cite our sources, but do we really know why and how to do it effectively? It often seems like a painful diversion from doing "real" research. In this presentation, we will explore the who, what, when, where, why, and how of citing sources. Along the way, we will look at content, sequencing, and formatting of source citations and touch on some common misconceptions.
