Eric will introduce methods for dealing with and locating living individuals and the ethical questions that arise when doing so. He’ll discuss similarities between dealing with ‘evidence’ in the genealogical field, and in other investigative fields such as a court of law, underscoring the importance of solid evidence in genealogical research. A case study will illustrate the practical application of these principles.
