Title:  Genealogy Strategies: Memorable Moments in the Life of Bob Hope, An American Icon

On June 20, 2023, the Bucks County Genealogical Society is sponsoring a free evening lecture as part of the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP). This lecture is free and open to the public.

Have a fun evening at GRIP and enjoy following the life of an American icon through the eyes of a genealogist. Few people realize that this English born actor and comedian had roots in Cleveland, Ohio. Learn how genealogical records, i.e., immigration records, vital records, government resources, ship manifests, manuscripts, photos, newspapers, etc., found at local and national repositories help to bring this man to life. Enjoy learning information that you may not have known before. You are guaranteed to leave with laughter in your heart and a smile on your face.
