Newspapers & Genealogy

Newspapers can fill in gaps in family history research and may provide information not found anywhere else. Therefore, newspapers should be a part of any genealogist’s tool kit. In her presentation, Janeen Bjork will introduce us to both free and fee newspaper databases, present her top 10 search strategies, and review best practices for locating specific information from within the hundreds of millions of newspaper pages that are digitized and available online.
